My handle there is Public Record Sourcerer

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • That previous line worked so I kept it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish, but this is just me being lazy.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you seeking this information from the police?
  • What other agencies would also have a copy?
  • Who would you ask for those records ABOUT what the police are doing or saying?
  • If you punish interagency cooperation which amounts to conspiracy to violate rights formally promised to you, is that Fair Play or Simple Retaliation on your part?
  • What would Restorative Justice look like if applied to a person who accepted employment as a Pimp’s Enforcer? Why would cops get a more lenient term than them? It’s what they are, only for non-sex employment 98% of the time.
  • Why do Forensics Departments belong to the Police? Shouldn’t science be an ADVERSARIAL process if it’s embedded in a Legal ADVERSARIAL process? Maybe the people with the paycheck signatures should not be the persons interested in conviction rates? Maybe?

Okay so maybe you ask more superficial questions than that. And maybe public records can’t answer EVERY question about Agencies and their Participants. But it can tell me who the FBI is thinking about in a 45 day cycle and I can live with that.

Perseverence is a Superpower, after all.
