Split on 5th Character

Delete the ‘change data type’ and keep it Text (don’t convert BACK to text from numerical)

Make sure to trim the dashes with a replace values, in the Zip4 field.

Who’s Deployed in July 2025 according to the Open Source known as WA VRDB

Remember that the Zip4 will not have all 4 numbers indexed in the source

You’ll need to split the Zip4 again to search the root against the Zip4’s in the main index. It’s not meant to fill in the units to that same degree of detail.

As there was a major change in Primary Key there is a split in the tables between the types.

This leads to INFLATION when we try to merge the APO / FPO list with the Address Table, as it only finds the 5 digit top level Zip and that can be a whole base full of facilities. “distinct count” as the Pivot output will quench that somewhat but it does not ELIMINATE the mis-tagging.
