SERIALS (Work ID Numbers) Basics: Four digits, higher is more recently hired. Don’t call them Badge Numbers or stuff gets stupid really quickly. Ask for SERIALS.
Seattle Police Legal Department has a BAD LIST – if you get on it, they serialize your requests and then shout at you online on each request in once voice: We will now delay everything behind the slowest dribble we have for you as an individual.
If you think that you are offered a chance to re-prioritize those requests – as they wrote in their email, well – NOPE.
They set the pace, they set the order. Once they figure out that you’re splitting brooms on them. After all, they have to help everyone like the Leg said they have to. This is HELPING.
